My 1000S doesn't have any feet or screw of any kind to prevent the head from coming out.  when I tip it it wants to slide right out... I am missing screws and feet.. could someone send me a photo (or post one) of the bottom of the amp so I can see what I need to replace.thanks this forum is AWESOME!

Hi,

No photo, but the rubber feet (medium size) for the 1000S are available from Conrad or AKindle on this site. You should be able to find holes in the Tolex at the corners of the bottom where the original feet were mounted. If the old screws are broken off inside the wood, you can remove them or just move the locations off by 1/8-inch or so. The feet will cover the problem area.

There should be holes for four screws on the bottom of the amplifier case. The screws are 10-24 x 1-1/4-inch Phillips Oval Head Machine Screws. The original probably used finishing (cup) washers under the screw heads; I prefer and use Flanged Finishing Washers. There should be four 10-24 nut plates attached to the amplifier chassis, two along the forward edge and two more along the rear, to accept the screws.

Good luck with the head.

Warmest...
