help me please identify this cabinet

I think this may be a Sonic I-40 cabinet?

measurements approx 24x24x15

would I be correct in thinking that?

Can you pull the grill cover off it? Is the cabinet sealed so that the only access from the front? Judging from the photo, I would wager it's a 115M or 115V from the early 1970s. See photo of my 115V below.

The only access to the inside is from the front; the back is sealed. Mine only has one jack; later ones had two. The Sonic cabs open up from the back, I believe.

I think CLD is right, and a picture of the back would settle it. I believe the grill cloth is incorrect for an I40 cab. Based on the picture, IMO it's a 115S, 155M, or 115V depending on what it's loaded with.

If you decide to pass on it, let me know. a pair of Sunn 115's are on my wish list!  :wink:

Or a 115S. All the same cabinet, with different drivers.

Yeah, I used to have a 115S. I really regret getting id of it.

It is  in fact a 115S

haven't plugged it in yet, but it has the original grill cloth, tolex and the handle, feet and casters.
