Beta Lead Potentiometer
« on: February 28, 2011, 09:41:23 am »
I have an '81 era  Sunn Beta Lead that has a couple of potentiometers with broken shafts (and missing knobs).  I've found the service manual images (Thank You ... ;o) and have determined that I need a 100k lin 'Level' pot  #23-1110 and a 1M lin dual gang 'Drive' pot #23-1373.  Does anybody have a source for these potentiometers?  The 'Level' pot has a fourth leg to the pcb which I believe is just an addition contact point to provide mounting stability and a replacement Alpha or CTS shouldn't be too difficult.  But the 1M dual gang 'Drive' pot needs to have a very small body diameter.  After scouring Mousers online catalogue, I think the I've found an Alpha pot the might work.  It's an Alpha p/n RV122F-20-15F-B1M (Mouser p/n 313-1250F-1M).  Has anybody had any experience with these?

This is a GREAT Site, Thanks in Advance

Find what potentiometer works for your Beta application and solder on longer leads so you can mount it on the PCB.
