Best Sunn for dual-duty BASS OR GUITAR

I want a poll on what the best amp would be for bass pushing 8x10
and occasional guitar duty..

I dont want to spend more than $300....

Conversely,  the concert bass amp isn't bad for guitar. 

If you want to go the tube route, I have my Solarus Head at our practice space plugged into an Avatar 2X12 bass cab and I use that for bass or guitar at rehearsal.  Sweet bass tones and takes pedals great.  It's the 40 watt piggyback head so as far as using it for bass it wouldn't cut it for most gig situations I don't think unless you miked it to a PA.  You could probably get enough stage volume out of it though.  For guitar, it's a different story. That 40 watter is hellaciously loud!!

What does that mean? You probably need to be more specific, that question doesn't make any sense; at least to me anyway.
It will "push" it as hard as the Concert Lead can "push" anything; about 150 watts worth with a 4 ohm load I believe. It will be louder with two Ampeg 8x10's, and louder still with four of them. The more the merrier provided you can configure them to run at the lowest safe impedance the Concert Lead can handle.
Is that what you want to know?

Not to be difficult, but that depends on what you consider "adequate".

haha.. well it will be competing with a soldano avenger through two sunn
 412s towers + ampeg vh140 through a sunn 412L

That still leaves too many variables to give a definite answer, so I'm going to guess that you are probably playing loud from the stage rather than letting a PA do the "heavy lifting".
I think Soldano Avengers come in 50 watt and 100 watt versions; doesn't really matter, IMO either one cranked up through 8 12's will have the capability to bury a Concert Lead and a 8x10 in the mix. If you are running reasonable SPL (like playing to the level of a normal drummer) on stage and using PA reinforcement it will probably hold its own. I'm not familiar with the Ampeg VH140.

Get the tube SVT that is supposed to be used with that 810 cab and you should have plenty of horsepower to keep up regardless of what the guitar(s) are doing.

slaves have no pre-amp. they'd run off another amp.
