Model T vs. 2000s
« on: August 17, 1999, 01:03:00 am »
I recently bought a 100s ,  which i use for my bass.
Yet ,  I'm desiring much more power. Can anyone give me feedback on Sunn's 2000s compaired to the model T ?
                                     Thank you.

My tube amp guru who sold me my 2000s said the original model Ts were very similar to the 2000s.
I run a 2-10 4ohm cab and a 1-15 8 ohm cab, 2.67
ohms total and this amp has all the power I need
in either my rock trio or 5 piece blues band.  I never have to turn the volume past 5.  I saw one recently for sale, e-mail me and will send you the details.

:The Sunn Model T not only has twice the power from a quad of 6550s, a 2 channel input/mix capability, line out, impedence selector, etc., but it has a smoother and deeper tone than the older 200S.
