Sunn Coliseum 300 Fan
« on: April 19, 2011, 04:43:45 pm »
I need to replace the fan in my coliseum 300.

Can anyone suggest a replacement? There are no markings on the motor can to tell me the specs.

Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure this has been asked before but never answered. You can try the search function though. Honestly, I'd just see if you can figure out it's voltage and what not and buy a matching replacement for a computer and install it.

I searched extensively for a replacement motor, and never had any luck (that wasn't obscenely expensive). In the future, perhaps someone who knows a bit more (than me) about electric motors can use the following info to find a suitable replacement. The marks on the can are as follows:

4ZSC-23U 04P
117v 60HZ 11.29W
Impedance Protected
E48524
Matsushita Electric

I had a show coming up, so time was short. I went to Radio Shack and bought a fan. It was a bit pricey at $26.00, but I was desperate. It's marked as a brushless 4" AC cooling fan. Part 273-241C. Fits perfectly (after the old fan mount was removed), and easy to wire in.

Anyways, we're back in business, and I hope someone can use this info in the future.
