That cat probably hates you right back, I hate the fact that you put duct tape on a cat.

Unfortunately, the cat insists on sleeping on my chest every night no matter what I do. I roll up the piece of duct tape into a ring and stick it on her back where she can't easily get to...keeps her busy for awhile and away from my gear. She eventually gets it off and it doesn't seem to hurt her. My GF gets jealous that her cat likes me better, no matter what I do to it.
She made us bring the cat along when we drove up to Nova Scotia last October....in a box truck, to move some stuff up there. Because of the cat, it took 2 hours to get through customs. My GF had let the cat out of its carrier because it wouldn't stop meowing. Then it got lost in the back of the truck, hiding under all the stuff. Two female customs agents made me back the truck up to a warehouse and empty half of it until they could see the cat...they noticed that my GF and I both had lots of fresh scratches/blood on our hands and arms. We'd taken the cat for a rabies shot the day before because you cannot bring one into Canada w/o a certificate. The cat remembered that we put it in the carrier to get the shot, so now it goes crazy any time we try to put it into the carrier.
A GF with a cat is like having two GFs......
