Running SUNN 200s through a AMPEG v4 cab

is it possible to run this setup and not blow the cab's speaker. BTW i am playing guitar through the 200s, very loud, distorted guitar

Only one speaker? I thought V4 cabs were 4X12's.
Anyway, logic would say that if it's a cab meant to be used with a V4 amp, it should be fine with the less powerful Sunn 200S driving it.

yes.  the V4 cab is itself designed to be sold with a very loud 100w amp, and the 200s unless I'm mistaken has an output of less than 100w.  Most guitar cabs are designed to be able to handle 100w or more, usually more.  So quite frankly no matter what cab you choose, unless the speakers themselves are in bad shape, should be more than capable of handling the 200s at its loudest.

It matters which V4.  Their is a 4x15 W bin V4 Ampeg in my garage awaiting delivery...................
