Beta Lead /412L loud pop when turned off...

Finally acquired the full stack - sounds awesome, except makes a very loud pop when amp is turned off. Turned reverbs down to zero, volume at zero - still does it. Any thought on how to stop it? Bad capacitors maybe?  Thanks for the help.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's annoying, I know, but I'm pretty sure it isn't going to hurt anything.

My Solarus has been "popping" at shut down for 42  years LOL
(it pops when I hit the "stand by switch" before shutting it down completely).

My Coliseum does the same thing, unplug the head from the cab before you turn it off.

Same here, every Coliseum Bass I've owned (four) did the same thing, and the Coliseum 880 was the loudest. Concert Bass did it, too, but wasn't as loud as the others.

Recently I picked up an Acoustic 360 for $200 and a manual I found for it includes the following:

"POWER ON/OFF: This turns the whole system on (see hook-up procedure).  If everything is working, there might be a loud thump when you turn the amp on. DON'T PANIC. This is normal."
