EU/WTB: Sunn 2000s

Hey, it's my first post, but I want to join the Sunn club.

I'm looking for 2000s (maybe 200s) head - preferably in Europe, but if anybody is willing to post the amp across the big pond them I'm all ears

Hi,

hard to find them here but it is no problem getting one in the USA and ship them (the sellers were all Sunn freaks and nice people to do buissiness with). The 200S is app 280€ shipping (via dhl etc) plus duty + vat (app. 200€ on the amp), the 2000S is app 360€ plus duty + vat (app. 500€ extra on the amp). I found out that Fedex was the only company that were able to ship the 2000S.


If I were you I would start with a 200S, the sound is great, warm and you can cranck it up on any stage...

I just posted a nice 200S head and a matching grill 2x15 SUNN bass cab on EBAY at a reasonable price. See link below.

I am selling the cab empty....and I WILL ship to you!!

I can open the cab and pack the head in it....bubblewrap the head like mad and keep it from moving around.....then box up the bottom (with the head inside) and ship it as one box!

That would greatly reduce some of the cost to ship.

Where are you from?
You should check this guy called Georges Bracke from Belgium.
He's selling vintage Ampeg gear all the time and a few months back he was also selling a couple of Sunn amps and if I remember correctly one of those was a 200 or 2000S. Not sure..
