ATTN SITE ADMINISTRATOR
« on: February 22, 2012, 10:48:52 am »
Hi,

Awhile back, I could not access the site from any of my PCs. The displayed error was: "The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression." I was, however, able to access from my two MACS.

The same message has been coming up on my PCs again for the past week or so, but today, I accessed through the MAC again.

Any idea what this is? I'd figure it for an error on my end, but not with three different PCs.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated, and if the error is on your end and not mine, maybe you can help me and any other members who might be having the same access problem.

Thanks and warmest regards,

I notified the site moderator last week that there is another malicious virus attached to the page. The virus protection software on your PC is blocking you from the virus and therefore the site.  Your Mac is oblivious to it.  I am typing this response on my iPod since I do not own a Mac.  You'll also notice a lack in recent posts since everyone is having this same issue.

Regretfully I think a lot of memebers got burned by this latest round of virus hijinks. However it seems like things are back to normal since I experienced no issues logging in and navigating the site from my PC laptop tonight.
I didn't have anything to do with getting the site squared away, and I assume that the admin has been fighting with the issues that have been plaguing our forum, so thanks to Tboy.
