Beta Bass Amp needs repair

I am looking for repair imformation for my Beta bass head.
I have tones but tones fizzel out quick.
It sounds like a blown speaker but it's not the speaker.
also if this amp was fixed can anyone tell me the resale value $$$$$

Capacitors! Check the Capacitors, they tend to go bad after a few decades. Look for white powdery stuff oozing out of them. Fairly easy to replace, be careful though.

sounds like the problem I'm having with my beta lead...was it the capacitors? Have you fixed it? Would truly appreciate your testimony.
