Foot switch for Sunn Sceptre

I recently purchased the original (I believe?) foot switch for my Sunn Sceptre head.

On the pedal it says "Reverb Boost" and Tremolo Boost". This foot switch does not completely switch on and off these effects like I was hoping it would.

Should it?

Or is it strictly a boost pedal like it says?

Can I get a foot switch for this amp that will completely switch on and off the reverb and tremolo?

Hello:
 There must be something wrong there because all the swithes do is short the connector to ground. You can double check by wiring an RCA connector to short center to outer conductor and plug it in. If the reverb still plays then the problem is in the amp. There might be resistance in the pedal so it is not at zero ohms which would allow the reverb to work. The pedals were used with different amps so thats why the double labeling.
