Sunn Enforcer Full Stack!
« on: December 16, 2013, 06:28:52 pm »
Well after many years of searching I finally found the 4X12 not just one but both A & B! I've actually never seen a "B" cab before.
Along with them an absolutely pristine Enforcer head. Looks like it just came out of the box... amazing!
Head just came in and the speakers tomorrow. This makes Enforcer #4 Pics to follow

Awesome and they sound that way as well.  I have only one (four...wow!).  If there is any chance you have more than one Enforcer footswitch and would be willing to part with one of them I would, I have been looking for one for mine for a very long time now and would be willing to pay any reasonable price for it.

Please message or email if you do and are willing!

Either way,  crank it up!

I'm surprised you didn't catch the one on ebay last week with no jack? I snatched it for $40 with no other bids!

I did see one recently with no end on eBay but it I believed it was actually a later Beta Lead footswitch.  I thought that because I have one that looks identical and the circuit board inside of it is marked Sunn Beta.  Presuming I am wrong and it is an Enforcer I would love to see what the inards looked like.  If it turns out that this is an Enforcer foot switch, we can both have a good laugh at my expense too as I have been sitting on this one for a while thrown off by the circuit board labeling that reads Sunn Beta. I've never seen an Enforcer footswitch in person or in a legible picture. I posted a couple of pictures of my unit which looks like the one I think you purchased.

If you haven't yet done so and are willing to do so, please open it up and see if the circuit board inside is marked Sunn Beta. The one I have that looks just like what I saw on ebay (yours now) but mine is a lot more worn.  I appreciate the posts as I so often learn something new from the conversations with others. Hopefully I'll learn that what I seek I already have.

Thanks!

Ok...the joke is definitely on me (or maybe is me).  I traced the circuit on the "SUNN BETA" circuit board and confirmed it is the Enforcer Circuit so it would appear I've had an Enforcer footswitch for about a year and a half...arrrggghhh :-)

I couldn't really text it until two nights ago when I finally sat down and took my Enforcer head apart to determine why the channel select logic wasn't working. See thread http://sunnforum.ampage.org/index.php/topic,6669.0.html. I found the issue and made the fix and when I got it all back together and turned it on I saw both a green and a red light together for the first time since I bought the head a few years back.

After tracing the footswitch circuit and realizing it was the Enforcer circuit (ergo and Enforcer footswitch) I plugged in it and of course it works like a champ now that the amp is working 100%.

The bottom-line is if it weren't for your thread Sunn-Tanned...I wouldn't have made the connection and would still be presuming the footswitch I had was for a different amp.

Thanks hardly covers it!!!
