My Beta Lead has been through a fair amount in the past few months. Ive recapped it, fixed busted transistors, replaced fuses and now its giving me grief again.
Im getting a super nasty farty type sound out of it that will only come out when the volume is around 3 or higher.
Ive tested going out of the master FX send to another amps power section and that works fine, so Im lead to believe its the power amp.
Could this be another transistor issue? The amp was performing like a champ for a solid 6 weeks after I recapped it and one day it just decided not to work. Im sick of fixing this beast so please help!!
