Looking back through history...

I spent considerable time searching through old threads to find this one:

The odd thing is, it took me so long to find the thread, I don't remember why I was looking for it!

It had something to do with cutoff frequencies and cathode resistances, but I really don't remember why I was looking for that info. Still, it's a good thread, lots of good information, and reminds me that I really miss Joe Arthur's contributions.

And, just in case anyone is interested, I undid the mod to the BASS BOOST circuit. No point in having a switch that doesn't do anything audible.

Whatever happened to him anyway? He and I had run-ins, mostly with anything related to Conrad....it seems he didn't like Conrad or something. I still liked many of his posts.

I think there may have been some history there, and that Acoustic Control Co. may have had something to do with it as well.
