350b recap/ strange power supply circuit
« on: September 01, 2014, 12:01:10 pm »
So I opened up my 350b head to take a look and figure out what I need to order to do a recap. I started looking at the power supply filter section and it is wired all kind of strange compared to the standard 2000s schematic. Here is a drawing of how its wired. Has anyone seen that strange 1k resister to the 2 parallel cap can sections part before? It doesn't look right to me. The resistor and solder joints don't look stock to me either.

Nope, never seen anything like it. Doesn't look like any Sunn schematic I've ever seen, either.

Yeah it's strange, other than than weird part it's wired just like a normal solid state rectified 2000s would be.
