Finally... JoeArthur has a site up...

I know I have been away for a while.  In fact, I just got back from South Carolina shortly before Thanksgiving last year.  I haven't really been working so hard in putting a website up... (well duh!!)

But it's finally available.  It is best to access it through this address to avoid the AOL ads and other junk they insist on plugging into my pages if you use the hometown.aol.com address:

http://members.aol.com/joeaarthur/amps/index.html

In addition to the previous (and only) article about my second generation Model T mods, I have a new one on the Sunn Orion Control Amp for anyone that may be interested.

Joe,

im glad to see your site is back up. :)
you never replied to my email, but if you have any further problems with that site, my offer to host it for you still stands.

anyway.. i have a question:
in the split rail stage of your second gen model t, where is the B- voltage derived from? My A212 has a split rail/mid boost stage like that, and i cant figure out where that negative voltage is coming from.

btw.. my A212 seems to be the 2 channel combo version of the second gen model T. interesting.

The negative voltage for the split-rail stage is derived from the negative bias voltage supply for the output tube stages.

I knew I mentioned that... somewhere... but it was difficult for me to find!!  Look at the first topic under the "miscellaneous" section of the last page.

And Joe... I did appreciate your offer to host even though I didn't reply.
