Sunn Alpha 115
« on: August 19, 2010, 07:18:42 pm »
Sunn gear rarely shows up in the Boise, Idaho area. But craigslist has done well. In the spring I found a complete PA (can't remember what kind) with 2, 4x10 speakers. My drummer bought it from me then left in in Chicago....
Anyways, just today I went and picked up this Alpha 115 for. There is practically no information about it on the web.
It is in very good shape. Only issue is the volume knob was messed up it is staying at the same level. Going to fix that soon.

I took the photos after getting it home. And it really does look new, I was very surprised when I first saw it.
The white peg of the volume control pot broke off, but there is enough stub to turn it with some needle nose. Just until I can replace the pot.
I haven't played through it yet (waiting for guitar to be delivered...) so I am very eager to crank it.
