is this a joke?
« on: April 29, 2011, 08:58:01 am »
would it be a joke to run a PEAVEY 400 series bass amp into an ampeg 8x10?

200 watts at 2 ohms
100 at 4 ohms ?

or would this even work?

Dude!

These old Peaveys are killer! More than loud enough at 4 ohms into an 8x10, thunderous with two at 2 ohms. Also, aside from Sunn, I've never gotten a better bass tone out of an amp than with a 70s Peavey head.
